Biography

Hello, I’m Nathan! Aside from being your Realtor, I’m an avid sports-enthusiast, a lover of music, and a family man. I have the world’s most wonderful wife, Theresa, and three very squeezable young children named Teddy, Lucy, and Ollie.

My interest in real estate originally spawned from an interest in people. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Taylor University in Indiana, I yearned for the right fit for my entrepreneurial yet person-focused spirit. After a few years of excelling in the sales industry and with a short stint in marketing, I stationed my love for people in real estate sales. Nowhere else have I been able to freely utilize my repertoire of strengths.

The real estate market is hyper-local, seasonal and temperamental—in other words, it can change on a dime. I provide my clients with information on market seasonality and information relevant to what is happening in their specific neighborhood. This pillar of my business is evident at the beginning stages of a real estate process and will remain the foundation of the transaction all the way through the end. I am a high-producing and reachable professional and that will never change.

3) Holistic Transactional Excellence

I am dedicated to careful drafting of important documents and a holistic transactional excellence for every listing and sale. What this means for you is that I oversee every detail of the real estate transaction with the standard of care of an attorney. The transaction is far from over once an offer has been accepted. I monitor inspections, appraisals, title, escrow, and loan processes.

Bellingham

Bellingham is a lot of things. A college town. The northernmost city in the contiguous United States. A mid-point between Seattle and Vancouver, BC. A beer lover’s paradise. But more than anything it is, hands down, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Views from Bellingham include Mt. Baker and the Cascades, Bellingham Bay and the tree-lined San Juan Islands. The water of Bellingham Bay provides opportunities for boating, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, and viewing the spectacular craggy, coastline. And with Mt. Baker at our doorstep, winter sports like skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing are moments away. The city is great for bicyclists. With more than 60 miles of bike lanes on the roads and almost 70 miles of trails, getting on your bike for a jaunt is both easy and picturesque. The trails are great for an afternoon stroll or longer hike too. Bellingham has long been a gathering place for creatives. Artists from the literary, theater, musical and visual arts make up a vibrant scene that attracts both residents and visitors. Seattle is 90 miles to the south, and Vancouver is about 50 miles to the north, which means those arts and cultural centers are just a drive away as well.
